Title: What Can You See on a Private Walking Tour of Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Oceania. Since the itinerary had not been decided until the day of the tour, I proposed a plan at the meeting point and we began from there. First, we walked to Shinjuku Gyoen and strolled through the garden. They were deeply impressed by the tranquility in the middle of the city and by the wide variety of trees and flowers. After that, I assisted them with purchasing a Suica card at Sendagaya Station, and we traveled to Harajuku by JR. At Meiji Jingu Shrine, I explained Japanese history, the differences between shrines and temples, and the connection to Emperor Meiji and the shrine. As we walked along the approach, I explained the sake barrels, the torii gate, and waka poetry, and we offered a prayer at the main hall. Afterward, on Takeshita Street, the guests showed interest in the animal cafes. The ramen we had for lunch was very well received. Next, we passed from Cat Street through Miyashita Park and reached the scramble crossing in front of Shibuya Station, took photos in front of the Hachiko statue, and the tour came to an end.
