Over the course of the day the route took in Fushimi Inari at 10:40, Arashiyama at 12:00 and Kinkaku-ji at 13:30.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Kyoto to Inari by train (150JPY); Inari to Saga-Arashiyama by train (240JPY). Across 2 sections the fare came to 390JPY per person.

I guided a group visiting from Europe. Unfortunately it rained, and combined with the cherry blossom season, everywhere was extremely crowded. Perhaps because of this, after walking a little way into the Arashiyama bamboo grove, one of the guests said they would take shelter from the rain and wait. After that they returned to the Hotel by taxi. Since it was their first time in Japan, we visited only the classic spots, so although it was crowded, the guests took lots of photos and seemed to be enjoying themselves. However, they did not have much Japanese cash on hand, and when they tried to withdraw cash by card, it did not work at a convenience store. They found a currency exchange machine near Kinkaku-ji and exchanged money there. We finished the tour and parted ways at Kinkaku-ji.

Thoughtful tour with excellent support and service
The experience and tour were excellent allowing us to customize according to our desires. The customer service was very flexible and accommodated a late change in reservation due to an error in booking. The guide, Kei, was thoughtful in taking us to the shrines and temples and explaining the history and cultural significance of each. This was a very positive cultural experience and I would recommend it to you.
