What Is a Private Kawagoe Day Tour Like from Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Europe on an extended independent trip, and they had researched their itinerary very thoroughly, visiting one lesser-known spot after another. Since a vegan option had been requested, I had scouted the only place offering it beforehand and shared the information, and I even made a reservation by phone in the morning. However, the restaurant was so crowded that we were never shown to a table, and the reservation was effectively meaningless. When the guests said a simple café would be fine, I cancelled it. We then looked for restaurants along the way and were able to have lunch without any trouble. One of the guests found walking a little difficult, so they seemed tired toward the end, but they very much enjoyed chatting with me. Because they had reserved train tickets back to their hotel in Tokyo, the morning timing had shifted, and since the return ticket from Omiya was for a 19:00 departure, they said they would stroll around the Kurazukuri (warehouse-style) street before heading back to the station, so we parted ways there. It was extremely crowded, and even the buses were full. I later received a message via a messaging app saying they had been able to switch to an earlier return service, so it seems they made it back safely. I did not take any photos with my own camera, so I am sorry that I cannot upload any.
