Title: What's an Early-Morning Private Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kiyomizu-dera, Sanjusangen-do, and Fushimi Inari

The guests were a group visiting from North America. Some of the guests had been to Japan several times before and were quite familiar with Kyoto, while others were visiting Kyoto for the first time. It was a 4-hour tour starting early at 7:00, during which I took them to Kiyomizu-dera, Sanjusangen-do, and Fushimi Inari Taisha. Because it was still early morning, Kiyomizu-dera was not very crowded, and the guests were able to drink from the Otowa Waterfall. The cherry blossoms were about 30 to 50 percent in bloom, which made for the perfect timing. At Sanjusangen-do, some of the guests seemed especially interested, as they had experience with archery. By the time we reached Fushimi Inari, it was already extremely crowded. Some of the guests had previously visited Kiyomizu-dera and Sanjusangen-do, but this was their first visit to Fushimi Inari, and even though it was very crowded, they commented that Fushimi Inari was their favorite. The rest of the guests also said that Fushimi Inari was the highlight.
