What Is a Private Walking Tour of Shimonoseki and the Kanmon Straits Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting Japan. One part of the group took some time at immigration, so we started a little later than planned. Since they had been reading a book about Japanese samurai, I believe they enjoyed the tale of the Heike at Akama Shrine and the scenery of the former castle town of Chofu. They had seen the sights of Japan's large cities, but they said it was their first time seeing old houses like those in the castle town of Chofu. There was also a place displaying hina dolls, which they were delighted to see. In addition, at the Kanmon Tunnel pedestrian walkway, they took photos at the line marking the prefectural border.
