What Can You See on a Private Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace, Asakusa, and Ueno Park
The guests were a group visiting from Europe, who had arrived in Yokohama the previous day on a two-week cruise from Asia. After sightseeing in Tokyo, they planned to travel to Hiroshima and Kyoto. At Meiji Shrine, they appeared impressed by the quiet and solemn atmosphere, which was very different from the bustle of Shibuya. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with great interest to the historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Meiji Restoration, and the Edo Shogunate. At Senso-ji Temple, they were interested to hear about the differences between temples and shrines, as well as the story of the Kaminarimon Gate. At Ueno Park, they were delighted to see the early-blooming cherry blossoms. Since I was able to accommodate the guests' wishes throughout, I believe they were satisfied.

Seizo Kaminto is een uitstekende gids. De metro van Tokio is een doolhof en zonder hem zou ik een hoop tijd verloren hebben, we bezochten de highlights en Seizo wist overal wat te vertellen. Het tempo lag wel hoog en het was warm maar Seizo wist ook waar we een frisse pint konden drinken. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.
