What Is a Private Fukuoka Day Tour to Nanzoin and Dazaifu Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests had visited Japan many times before, but this was their first time in Fukuoka, and they were very interested in the food and the atmosphere of the town, taking many photos. At Nanzoin Temple, they listened attentively to explanations about the temple's history, the various buildings and statues on the grounds, and the different types of Buddhist statues. At Nyoirin-ji Temple, they were delighted throughout by the charming frog statues, and said it was the most wonderful frog temple they had ever visited. At Dazaifu, they also enjoyed the local specialty umegae mochi. After the tour, the guests told me it was a truly wonderful place where they were able to see so many things, and thanked me for taking them there.

Miyoko was the most diligent guide that we have worked with during our visit to Japan. She was in touch with us very early to understand our preferences and was flexible in her approach. We preferred cultural sites rather than markets and she made excellent use of our brief time in town since we were visiting on a cruise ship. Highly recommended.
