From there the group visited Tobu Nikko Station at 10:10, Shinkyo Bridge at 10:20, Rinnoji Temple Sanbutsudo at 10:48, Nikko Toshogu Shrine at 11:30, Futarasan Shrine at 13:10, Kanmangafuchi Abyss at 14:40 and Tobu Nikko Station at 16:10.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Tobu Nikko Station／Tobu Bus to Shinkyo Bridge／Tobu Bus by bus (220JPY). Across 1 sections the fare came to 220JPY per person.
What Is a Private Nikko Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from South America. Since one of the guests mainly spoke Spanish, the other translated as needed throughout the tour. The guests arrived on a train nearly an hour earlier than the scheduled tour start time, so we began and finished early. There were not many large tour groups at that time of year, and things went smoothly except for waiting for the next slot at Yakushido Hall. In the first half, I explained things in detail, including some conceptual background, and because of the lunch reservation time, our visit to Futarasan Shrine was rather quick. In the second half, however, the guests enjoyed a more relaxed pace that included some shopping.

Excellent day with Yoko as our guide. We were able to cover a lot of the sites in Nikko providing information and history. Yoko guided us at a nice pace to allow us explore the sites and answer our questions. We also had lots of general conversations with Yoko during the day. Highly recommended tour of beautiful and historic Nikko!

Full Day trip from Tokyo- our guide, Yoko, gave excellent explanations on the difference between Shinto and Buddhist religions and their co-existence. Nikko is a Beautiful environment (even in winter), the structures were stunning. Yoko took us to a delicious restaurant- Taikō-bo. Quintessential japanese restaurant with local cuisine.
