What's a Private Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nezu Shrine, Asakusa, and Shibuya

The guests were a group visiting from North America along with friends from Asia, and some of them were visiting Japan for the first time. Some had come to Japan to take part in the Tokyo Marathon. Since one of the guests had difficulty walking, we used escalators and elevators as much as possible throughout the day. The guests were amazed at how clean the subway was. At the guests' request, we first visited Nezu Shrine, which they said was very beautiful. They took photos at the row of torii gates. We then took a taxi to Asakusa, where we first went up to the observation deck of the information center to take in the overall view, and afterward visited Senso-ji Temple, the Nakamise shopping street, the five-story pagoda, and the main hall. The guests found the buildings very beautiful and enjoyed taking photos with the early-blooming cherry blossoms. After a short break at a coffee shop, we moved on to Shibuya, where they experienced Hachiko and the Shibuya Crossing. As the guests planned to return to their hotel individually by taxi, we saw them into taxis in front of the station and ended the tour.
