Title: What's a Private Day Tour of Kyoto's Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, and Sanjusangendo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Europe, and it was everyone's first time in Japan. [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guide led the group to Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera (including Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, the Yasaka Pagoda, and Koshin-do), and Sanjusangendo. I had wondered whether Kiyomizu-dera, with its many steps, might be difficult for some of the guests, but they had no trouble at all and walked at nearly a normal pace. The tour fell on a Saturday and coincided with the Lunar New Year period, so all three sites were crowded with many travelers. The weather was remarkably warm for what did not feel like February. At Sanjusangendo in particular, everyone was overwhelmed by the 1,001 statues of Kannon.
