What Is a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The weather was good, and the tour proceeded smoothly. We started by purchasing a 24-hour subway pass in Nishi-Shinjuku. The guest loved Japan and was very knowledgeable about its history and culture, so I received many questions at each location. Meiji Shrine was quite crowded, so we were unable to worship at the main hall. The guest purchased an omamori charm. Because lunch took some time, I was unable to guide them through the Imperial Palace East Gardens. We visited Yasukuni Shrine and Kanda Myojin Shrine, and when I guided them around Akihabara, the guest said they wanted to visit Super Potato, so I took them there. After they mentioned feeling tired, we rested in Akihabara, and then I guided them to the entrance of a sumo show to conclude the tour. I received a tip.
