What Does a One-Day Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Look Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The weather was fine, and the tour progressed smoothly. We started by purchasing a 24-hour pass at Nishi-Shinjuku Station. One of the guests walked a little slowly and used the handrail on the stairs. At the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, we took our time exploring the gardens and the main keep, and the guests took many photos. In Asakusa we moved at a slightly quicker pace, but there were still plenty of photo opportunities and we were able to talk a lot. Since there was a transfer to Narita later that day, the plan was set to finish by 15:00. It was uncertain whether we would make it to Meiji Shrine in time, but we managed to give an explanation and take photos in front of the torii gate. After that, I saw the guests off at their Hotel, and the tour ended almost exactly on schedule.
