What Is a Private Miyajima and Hiroshima Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Asia and Europe, who had arrived in Hiroshima separately the day before the tour and met up together. We exchanged emails several times in advance, and I created the itinerary according to their wishes. For most of the group, it was their first visit to Japan. Blessed with clear weather, they thoroughly enjoyed the Miyajima and Hiroshima tour. They were delighted with the tempura they ate in Miyajima, finding it delicious. At the Peace Memorial Park, in addition to sharing the account of the atomic bombing that I had heard from my grandfather, I explained in considerable detail why Hiroshima became the site of the bombing and why it happened on August 6, 1945. At the Atomic Bomb Museum, some of the guests seemed quite shocked by the exhibits. Overall, I believe it turned out to be a very good tour.
