What Is a Private Kyoto Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests came from North America. They had studied Kyoto and Japan very well, and many questions came my way, which was educational for me too. They showed great interest wherever we went, and it took more time than expected, but since the priority was for the guests to enjoy themselves, I paced the tour to match them. In the end we ran quite behind schedule, and even after cutting Ryoan-ji Temple, our final destination, we returned to the Hotel one hour late.
