Tour Itinerary in Detail

This private tour of Nagasaki began at 08:30, when the guide met the guests at Matsugae, and finished at 14:30. The day ran to 6 hours from start to finish. It included lunch at Nagasaki Stadium City at 11:45.

From there the group visited Inasayama Slope Car at 09:00, Atomic Bomb Museum at 10:30, Peace Park at 11:00, Dejima at 12:45, Meganebashi Bridge at 13:30 and Kofukuji Temple at 14:00.

Due to a miscommunication with the driver, we ended up taking the slope car instead of the ropeway as originally planned. I felt we may have spent a little too much time on this, and since I was also unable to board the same slope car as the guests, they seemed to be feeling somewhat frustrated. Because of this, at the Atomic Bomb Museum I picked up the pace a bit and skipped some of the explanations I usually give, so that we could complete the entire itinerary. The guests asked how long they would be able to stay at the next stop, and since it is a compact town, I explained that we could get around efficiently and therefore allocate a certain amount of time accordingly.
