- Scheduled to meet at Itsukaichi Port Ferry Terminal at 9:30, but joined at 11:55 due to waiting in line for immigration inspection and delays→Moved from Itsukaichi Port to Peace Memorial Park by taxi→Around 12:30, lunch first. Walked to Okonomiyaki Uzushio→From around 13:45, Atomic Bomb Dome, Memorial Tower for the Mobilized Students, Rest House, Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, Peace Memorial Museum
What Is a Private Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Disembarking at Itsukaichi Port took about two hours, so we had to drop Miyajima from the originally planned itinerary and guide only the Peace Memorial Park. When I explained about the wartime student mobilization, we were able to exchange many thoughts about what those times were like. While resting inside the rest house, as a little surprise I brought some chiyogami paper and we folded paper cranes together, and the guests enjoyed it, joking, "It's been a while since I did origami, but it's fun! I'll have to remember how to do this when I get home." From the local atmosphere inside the udon restaurant to the compact yet thriving streets of Hiroshima, the guests seemed to enjoy everything in sight as something fresh and new. Although there were many inconveniences due to the significant delay in meeting up, with the support of [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) we somehow managed to carry it through, which was a relief.

Hayato was a great tour guide. My family and I loved our time in Hiroshima and Miyajima with him. He took us to a local cuisine for lunch after the peace memorial and before heading to Miyajima. He has a lot of knowledge of the area and was also very communicative. My children also loved him. We ended up spending more time than planned and he was so gracious to stay with us extra time and make sure we had the best time while we were here. I would highly recommend booking with Hayato. We have been in Japan for 2 weeks and this was our best day we had!
