What Is a Private Osaka Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Today I guided a group visiting from Europe. They had traveled through Tokyo, Kanazawa, Hakone, Takayama, and Hiroshima, and were scheduled to return home the following day. The weather today was clear and pleasant, perfect for sightseeing. We went to Osaka Castle early to avoid the crowds, and the guests were pleased to be able to view it relatively slowly and at leisure. We had originally planned to visit Kuromon Market next, but since the guests had already been to Nishiki Market, they said they would like to try Shinsekai instead, so I took them there and they enjoyed the lively streets. Finally, I took them to Dotonbori and to a recommended okonomiyaki restaurant in Dotonbori, and the tour came to an end. I believe they enjoyed themselves.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April!
