Title: What Can You See on a Private Tokyo Architecture Tour of Ueno and Omotesando? A Licensed Guide's Report
I guided guests from Europe for the first time. The guests were very close and requested to see buildings designed by renowned Japanese architects, so in addition to standard sightseeing spots, I showed them architecture within Ueno Park (Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, the National Museum of Western Art, the Tokyo National Museum, and the International Library of Children's Literature of the National Diet Library) and around Omotesando to Harajuku (Omotesando Hills, the Yoyogi National First Gymnasium, and AEAJ Green Terrace). I received many questions about the Japanese entertainment industry. The last place we visited, AEAJ Green Terrace, is a building designed by Kengo Kuma that houses the Aroma Environment Association of Japan; for a fee (500 yen per person), visitors are allowed to tour inside the building. It may be a place of interest for guests involved in architecture. I believe the guests were fully satisfied with the tour.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
