What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America. They had arrived only the previous evening, but they showed no signs of jet lag and were in very good spirits. They enjoyed Japanese food in general; the night before they had eaten wagyu beef, and today they had a reservation for a sushi dinner. They did not seem particularly interested in anime, so we skipped Akihabara, but they told me they planned to visit all of the other main sightseeing spots in Tokyo. As luck would have it, at Meiji Shrine we saw many children celebrating Shichi-Go-San. There were also babies visiting for their first shrine blessing, and the guests were delighted to see the mothers dressed in kimono.
