Tour Itinerary in Detail
Meeting at @ Hotel at 11:00, the group explored Tokyo until the tour ended at 17:00. The day ran to 6 hours from start to finish.
The itinerary covered Ginza (Mitsukoshi Department Store basement food floor) at 11:30, Tsukiji Market Lunch (Food Court) at 12:20, Asakusa (Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise) at 14:00, Meiji Shrine at 15:30 and Takeshita Street at 16:30.

The guests were a group visiting from North America. One of the guests spoke Japanese very well, so I was able to communicate in Japanese with that person, and in English with the rest of the group. It was one of the most enjoyable tours I have had. Since most of the guests preferred not to eat sushi, we had lunch at a food court in Tsukiji, where each person could choose whatever they liked. After that, we visited Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, and Harajuku, and said goodbye at a themed cafe on Takeshita Street. The guests seemed to have a wonderful time.

Tour of Tokyo- family with older teens
My family had an excellent tour around Tokyo with Rumi as two adults and two older teenagers. Rumi met us at our hotel and dropped us back there afterwards, which was really helpful as we were struggling with Shinjuku station. She was knowledgeable in the fish market and suggested food we might want to try from the best stalls. She showed us a great place for lunch where the kids enjoyed katsu curry. Rumi was very kind at the temple, showing us how to test our luck and providing offerings as well as walking us around the streets to buy souvenirs. She also helped with printing train tickets, checked up on us after an earthquake and sent through photos she had taken, none of which she had to do- she really went above and beyond expectations and made our first day in Japan a day to remember.
