Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 10:00 at hotel and ended at 14:10. The day ran to 4 hours and 10 minutes from start to finish.
Over the course of the day the route took in Imperial Palace & Nijubashi Bridge at 10:30, Shinjuku Golden Gai at 12:00, Meiji Shrine at 13:00 and Shibuya Crossing at 13:50.

The guests were visitors from Oceania. They had arrived in Japan after spending several days in Asia, and after staying in Tokyo they planned to travel to Kyoto and Osaka before continuing to another destination in Asia. Their request in advance was to learn about the main tourist spots and how to use the trains and subways so they could make the most of their time in Tokyo.
They also wanted to learn in detail about Japanese history and culture, so first, at Tokyo Station near their Hotel, I explained its history, the background of its architecture, and its role as a gateway to Japan. In front of the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge, I spoke about the history of the Imperial family and how the capital moved from Kyoto to Tokyo. They were deeply impressed by the grandeur and solemnity of the Imperial Palace.
At Shinjuku Golden Gai, it happened to be the time when the Godzilla statue moves on schedule, so they enjoyed watching it. Since the guests enjoyed drinking, I introduced them to Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho.
At Meiji Shrine, we happened to come across a first-shrine-visit ceremony, and they were delighted to see this uniquely Japanese custom.
Finally, I took them to the Shibuya Crossing, and as they wished to continue shopping afterward, I explained their way back and ended the tour.

Highly recommend this tour for first time visit to Tokyo. Our guide Atsushi took great care to acclimate us with navigating through busy train stations efficiently with a group of eight family members. Along the way and at each site he explained various cultural practices and associated histories that made the tour very immersive and enjoyable. Best Tour for a Short Visit
Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.
