Tour Itinerary
- 8:00 Meet at Himeji Station (The shuttle bus started running from 9:00, so we arrived early by taxi)
- 9:20 Stroll through the castle town to Himeji Castle
- 11:20 From Himeji Castle to Himeji Station
- 11:30 Shopping at the souvenir shop
- 12:20 Himeji Station, board the Sanyo Electric Railway
- 13:30 Tour of Nadagiku Sake Brewery
- 14:00 End

Even in the hot and humid weather, the guests listened with great interest and seemed to truly enjoy the tour. Since the heat was quite demanding, we took breaks many times. However, because we arrived at the castle early, we were able to avoid the crowds of passengers coming from a cruise ship, which was fortunate. At the souvenir shop I recommended, the guests purchased many items and clearly enjoyed the shopping.
At the sake brewery, I guided them through an old brewing facility, and they sampled some sake. They mentioned that they liked Himeji very much. When we parted, they told me it had been a really enjoyable tour, and I finished the day feeling happy as well.

Our guide Chiyuki was the best part of the trip. Super earnest, so generous with her knowledge of the history and culture. The tour had a lot to cover, from the sake making area to the Kobe Herb Garden Ropeway on the opposite side of the city, all in one afternoon. Miles to cover but never once did we feel rushed. We had lovely conversations along the way and tons of pictures to take home. Last but not least, when we requested for her recommendations of Kobe beef places, she pointed us to a top notch Kobe Beef Teppanyaki option – while prudently ensuring it was a value for money experience. You are the best Chiyuki – grateful for your hospitality and gracious hosting.

which was fabulous and the for a Kibe beef lunch, then toured Chinatown and did some
