- 11:20-12:00 Lunch @ Azuma
- 12:00-13:00 Sightseeing in Asakusa
- 13:15-14:00 Akihabara
- Disband at Super Potato 14:10
Title: What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Edo Castle, Asakusa, and Akihabara
The guests visited from North America. They mentioned that their home area is also quite humid, so they found the Japanese heat surprisingly bearable. One of the guests had wanted to visit Japan since childhood.
At the former Edo Castle grounds, the guests walked the full route without taking any shortcuts. In Asakusa, we had lunch first and then went sightseeing. Perhaps because of the heat, the area was relatively uncrowded overall.
The guests had specific spots they wanted to see in Akihabara, so after I gave an overall explanation, they wished to explore at their own pace, and the tour ended at a shop there.
Since 8:00 was too early for the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, we set the departure for 8:30. It was a pleasure to guide the group.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour immensely. Maki was absolutely great. If you want to get oriented in Tokyo take this tour first. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and considerate to our needs for seeing the best of Tokyo in one day. I would recommend this tour on the first day to experience negotiating the Tokyo Metro and famous sights.
