It rained almost the entire day, and at times the downpour was heavy enough that we couldn't leave the sheltered areas, which slowed our progress. The guests wished to see shrines and temples, so I first guided them to Kiyomizu Kannon-do and Ueno Toshogu Shrine. At Toshogu Shrine, they also went into the paid area (I had told them it was 500 yen, but the price had gone up to 700 yen) and enjoyed the magnificent architecture. I explained that the five-story pagoda in Ueno is a historic building and one of the oldest structures remaining in Tokyo, and they took many photos. At the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, they were very interested in the castle keep. At Meiji Shrine, they also showed interest in the religion and the architecture, and I explained various things. On Takeshita Street, they seemed to want to buy a crepe, but they gave up as they couldn't find one to their liking. I guided them to Shibuya on schedule and the tour ended. I received a tip.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of Japan and an expert in Japanese history and culture, and also in nursing and health. I usually work as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) at a Public Health Center in Tokyo, and I hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Additionally, I have a Ph.D. in medical science.
Born in 1957 and raised in Tokyo, I have worked for 33 years mainly in the research and development area for some pharmaceutical companies. Then, I changed my career to nursing and entered a university to obtain a PHN and RN license. I took the Licensed Guide for preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and volunteered in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2021.
