Tour Itinerary
- ①10:30 Meet at the hotel
- ②10:50-11:40 Tsukiji (Tsukiji Honganji Temple, stroll through the Outer Market)
- ③12:00-13:50 Akihabara (shopping at Yodobashi Uniqlo, Radio Kaikan)
- ④14:20-15:30 Solamachi (lunch at Saboten)
- ⑤15:30-16:30 Tokyo Skytree
- ⑥16:50 Uber arrives, departure to hotel, see-off
What's a Private Day Tour of Tokyo Like with Tsukiji, Akihabara, and Tokyo Skytree? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. Since they had a pre-booked reservation for Tokyo Skytree at 15:00, we timed our day around it and explored Tsukiji and Akihabara as requested. At Tsukiji, the guests enjoyed treats such as tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) and matcha latte. In Akihabara, they first did some shopping at Uniqlo for clothing, then at the Radio Kaikan building they purchased about ten items, including figures and Pokémon cards as souvenirs, and were very pleased. After lunch at Solamachi, they headed to the much-anticipated Tokyo Skytree (the observation deck and the observation corridor). They bought commemorative photos and had an enjoyable time. Although the original plan had included a stop in Asakusa, the guests became tired from the heat and decided to return to their hotel, so I called a large taxi via Uber, saw them off, and we parted ways.

Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the are and guided us to several temples using public transportation. We stopped for a traditional Japanese lunch and saw some of the specialty wood carvings from the area. Our guide enjoyed the beauty of nature and his enthusiasm helped us to pay attention to the natural beauty as well.
