What Is a Private Day Tour of Nara Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

Today's guests were a group visiting from North America. They were staying in Kyoto, and had attended the Gion Festival the previous day, though they were disappointed that the morning in Kyoto had been marked by heavy rain. In the afternoon the weather recovered, and they told me they had climbed all the way to the summit of Mount Inari at Fushimi Inari. However, having climbed to the summit the day before, walking around the vast Nara Park today seemed to be a bit demanding for them. We took many breaks and managed to complete the popular spots mentioned above safely and as scheduled. On the way back, we returned to Nara Station by bus.
