Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine, and Shibuya
The guests were a group visiting Japan for the first time from Europe, having arrived the previous day. After Tokyo, they planned to visit Kyoto, Osaka, and other destinations, staying in Japan for about two weeks in total.
I guided them to Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street, and Shibuya. Since the itinerary included Tokyo Tower, the time spent walking outdoors was not very long, but as both the temperature and humidity were high, we made sure to take plenty of water breaks to prevent heatstroke. As some of the guests were interested in anime and manga, we had planned to visit the Pokémon Center and the Nintendo Store in Shibuya if time allowed, but the tour reached its scheduled end time after seeing the Scramble Crossing and the Hachiko statue. Therefore, I handed them a map of Shibuya and explained the locations of the Pokémon Center and the Nintendo Store, and I also explained how to get back to their hotel before we parted ways.

He asked for our visit priorities and designed an interesting and engaging tour over the several hours we spent together. This tour was beyond expectations! Haru, my tour guide, was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I feel like I learned so much from him throughout the day! I loved that I was able to choose from so many different sightseeing options. I simply gave Haru my list of preferred places and he did the rest!
