Tour Itinerary
- 9:50 Meet at Himeji Station
- 10:15 Board the bus to Mount Shosha
- 11:15 Take the ropeway to the mountaintop station
- 11:30 Tour the main hall
- 12:30 Tour the three halls, visit the exhibition room on the second floor of the dining hall
- 13:30 Board the bus to Himeji Castle
- 13:50～14:50 Lunch
- 15:00~16：50 Tour the castle keep
- 17:30 Himeji Station Disband
What's a Private Day Tour from Himeji Port Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Himeji Castle and Mount Shosha
This was a request from cruise ship passengers whose ship was docked at Himeji Port. Since Himeji Castle was expected to be crowded with passengers in the morning, we headed to Mount Shosha first. Even though it was difficult to walk in the rain, the guests kept up well. They loved the aesthetic atmosphere and took many photos. For lunch, they ordered a lot at the restaurant I recommended. As they seemed tired from sightseeing in the rain, I showed them the especially interesting parts at the castle keep. This was a group visiting from North America and Oceania, and we finished the tour in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our guide Chiyuki was the best part of the trip. Super earnest, so generous with her knowledge of the history and culture. The tour had a lot to cover, from the sake making area to the Kobe Herb Garden Ropeway on the opposite side of the city, all in one afternoon. Miles to cover but never once did we feel rushed. We had lovely conversations along the way and tons of pictures to take home. Last but not least, when we requested for her recommendations of Kobe beef places, she pointed us to a top notch Kobe Beef Teppanyaki option – while prudently ensuring it was a value for money experience. You are the best Chiyuki – grateful for your hospitality and gracious hosting.

which was fabulous and the for a Kibe beef lunch, then toured Chinatown and did some
