- 10:00 Meeting at Hiroshima Station
- 11:05 Arriving at Miyajima Island
- 11:15 Visiting Itsukushima Shrine and Walking to the Torii Gate
- 13:00 Lunch at the OKONOMIYAKI restaurant
- 14:10 Taking a tram to the A-bomb Dome
- 15:10 Monument tour including the hypocenter and the A-bomb dome
- 16:40 Museum
- 17:50 Goodbye in front of the Shinkansen entrance
What Is a Private Guided Tour of Miyajima and Hiroshima Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
It was raining, but the guests really liked Miyajima and even said they would like to live there. During the explanation in front of the Dome, one of the group asked about the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and although one of the guests looked a little uneasy, they still listened attentively along with the rest of the group. At the statue for the children, one of the guests listened with tears in their eyes and was delighted with the paper crane I gave them. At the museum, one of the guests came out saying it was too disturbing, so in the rest area I talked with them while showing photographs of Hiroshima's famous sights, which they enjoyed very much. They opened up to me, and we became good friends.

Hiroshima Tour with Yoshi
Yoshi was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond—meeting us at the station and making everything feel effortless and perfectly organized.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about Hiroshima’s history. What made the experience even more special is that her perspective comes from someone who was born and raised there. Hearing the stories, details, and context directly from her added a level of depth and authenticity that you simply cannot get otherwise.
Beyond her knowledge, Yoshi is just a beautiful human being—kind, warm, and genuinely caring. Spending the day with her felt like a hug to the heart. She made us feel comfortable, cared for, and fully present in such a meaningful place.
She guided us through every site with perfect timing and intention, making sure we experienced everything without ever feeling rushed.
If you are visiting Hiroshima, I cannot recommend Yoshi enough. Seeing the city through her eyes is something truly unforgettable.
