Can You Do a Private Group Day Tour of Kyoto and Arashiyama? A Licensed Guide's Report

Today's guests were a group visiting from North America. Since there was a concern about rain, we started slightly early at 8:00. Some of the guests wanted to rent kimono in Arashiyama and stroll through the bamboo grove, so we had made a reservation for 2:30. However, quite a lot of time was spent buying souvenirs, which caused some delays in the tour's progress. As a result, we relied mainly on taxis to get around. I guided the members who were not wearing kimono to the Monkey Park. I believe all of the guests were able to enjoy the day in their own way.
