Tour Itinerary in Detail
Meeting at Yokohama Cruise Terminal at 9:00, the group explored Tokyo until the tour ended at 16:50. The day ran to 7 hours and 50 minutes from start to finish.
The itinerary covered Meiji Shrine at 10:20, Explore Shibuya at 11:50, Imperial Palace / Nijubashi Bridge at 13:30 and Asakusa / Senso-ji Temple at 14:30.

The guests were a group visiting Japan. Having just finished a cruise around Japan the day before, they spent their final day sightseeing in Tokyo before returning home the next day.
We headed directly from Yokohama to Meiji Shrine. In the precincts, I explained the differences between Buddhism and Shinto, the influence each has had on Japanese culture, and the differences in ways of worship, before strolling through the grounds. We were fortunate enough to see as many as 21 Shinto-style weddings taking place in the precincts, and the guests were delighted by the mystical atmosphere.
Next we headed to Shibuya, where at the Hachiko statue the guests said they had not known it was located there and enthusiastically took many photos. They were also amazed by the Shibuya Crossing and the Mario karts driving around, and seemed to really like the atmosphere of Shibuya.
After lunch, we went to the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge, where I explained about the Imperial family, and then headed to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, where they purchased many souvenirs.
They asked how to get to Haneda Airport the next day, so I explained the route and method in person at Yokohama Station, then saw them off at the nearest station to the cruise ship, ending the tour.

Best Tour for a Short Visit
Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.
