I would like to give you a handmade guide to meet your needs. I was born and raised in a port town called Yotsukura in Iwaki. My father was a semi-professional sea urchin and abalone fisherman. I was good at catching clams and mussels from an early age. I still go swimming in the ocean in the summer.
I started karate when I was in college to introduce Japanese culture to the world, and I have been practicing it for more than 45 years even though I am not very good at it. I still participate in masters, expert, and old men’s competitions. I have also acquired the 3rd dan in Judo, which I used to do. I have a judo physique, so I am quite thick and disadvantageous for karate.
In winter, if I have time, I go to Urabandaï to ski alone. I can help those who are interested in karate and skiing on their own trips. I will guide you with hospitality so that you will want to come back to Fukushima again.
