Title: What Is a Private Yanagawa River Cruise Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

Because I was unable to reach the guests until just before the tour and did not know the details of their situation, I prepared for several possible scenarios and checked the routes, which meant that the background research and inquiries took quite a lot of time. Also, since we went to the river cruise without a reservation, we had to line up and wait for more than thirty minutes. One of the reasons for the wait seemed to be a shortage of boatmen. It appears that not all of the boatmen who left during the COVID period have returned yet, and while the town had not fully regained its former liveliness, it felt as though inbound visitors made up about seventy percent of the visitors.

Today, since the guests were moving to Osaka in the evening, they had left their luggage at the hotel, so we went back to pick it up on the way.

One of the guests had previously worked in Fukuoka, so Fukuoka was familiar to them, but it was their first time visiting Yanagawa, and they were delighted, saying it was a beautiful town.
