Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Nara Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests came from Oceania and made their own way from Kyoto to Nara Station on the day of the tour. They seem to have arrived early and were waiting at a coffee shop. I had sent two messages saying that I would be waiting at the east exit of JR Nara Station, so I was waiting for them there. When they did not appear at the meeting time, I checked my messages and found one saying, "We are at the coffee shop." I confirmed the location of the coffee shop at the station information desk, and just as I was about to head there, the guests arrived at the station. The start was delayed by about fifteen minutes. For lunch we went to a restaurant at the bus terminal that served dishes such as a keema curry plate. It was crowded, so the food took a little while to arrive, but they were satisfied. The itinerary after lunch was discussed and decided on the day, and I believe they were pleased with it. They walked a great deal.

I am an experienced guide, who live in Osaka. I have been a Government-Licensed Guide in English since 2018. I have already guided a lot of tourists overseas in Kansai Area, that is, in the vicinity of my prefecture, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, and Himeji. I am especially good at guiding in Kansai Area with sufficient knowledge of history, culture and transportation. I have guided people ranging from a small group of one or two to a group of 20-50 people in a big bus, that is, a coach. I like delicious food, because Osaka is a city of Kuidaorre, which means that people in Osaka love to eat and never spend too much money on food. Therefore, as an Osakan, I will do my best to explore restaurants which serve most delicious foods in wherever I take to my guests.
