Title: What's a Private Day Tour of Meiji Shrine, Shibuya, and Asakusa Like in Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Europe who were visiting Japan for the first time. They had arrived in Japan the previous day and had already visited the Imperial Palace, so I guided them around Meiji Shrine, Shibuya, and Asakusa. In the end, I got the impression that they preferred the serene atmosphere of the forest at Meiji Shrine over the lively bustle of Nakamise Street in Asakusa. Since they wished to keep lunch simple, I suggested a ramen shop in Shibuya, but they ultimately purchased a sushi bento at the Tokyu Food Show and enjoyed it at the eat-in space. One of the guests was doing well, but the other became tired around Asakusa, so they decided to return to their accommodation. At the request of one of the guests, who wanted to discuss their upcoming travel plans, we talked for a little while in the lobby. Regarding the wealth of information about Japan they had received from a friend with extensive experience visiting the country, I answered their questions and offered advice where possible, except for detailed information about Kyoto.
