Title: What's a Private Family-Friendly Group Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Shibuya, and Sushi
The tour was a private group of guests. Since it was a weekday and we would be using the subway during rush hour, I expected the trains to be crowded, so I asked the group to split up when boarding. Fortunately, it was not as crowded as I had anticipated. The weather was wonderful, and the guests enjoyed visiting Meiji Shrine, remarking on how beautiful it was. One of the guests asked whether we could visit a popular donut shop or a pancake restaurant in Harajuku, but unfortunately there was no time that day, so I suggested they go after the tour. We then headed to Shibuya, where the plan was to purchase Welcome Suica cards for everyone, so we did that first. After that, the group experienced the Hachiko statue and the Shibuya Crossing, and I took them to the Pokemon Center and Nintendo Tokyo, which they had requested. Some of the guests were delighted. Since they had gotten hungry, we had a light meal on the 7th floor of Parco and visited the Hello Kitty shop. As I had made a reservation at Kura Sushi for 13:00, I took them there, explained how to order, and finished. I explained how to get back to their hotel and, since they planned to visit teamLab in the evening, I explained how to get there before ending the tour. With a large group, I was relieved that everything went smoothly.

Mrs. fumiko was very kind, calm and lovely person. She give us a introduction before entering to the different places. She also help us to get the suica card and translate at specifics times around the city. We really enjoy the peaceful energy of mrs. fumiko. Fumiko is a great tour guide – informative, friendly and very well prepared.
Fumiko was a great tour guide given she was very knowledgeable about the key tourist sites that we visited and history of Japan. Fumiko was a great communicator who reached out very early to design our six-hour tour of Tokyo. Unfortunately we spent a lot of time on the underground to get to the sites that we wanted to visit. My advice is to test with Fumiko early the likely time that you will spend on transport over the course of the day so you do not spend unnecessary time on public transport. Probably do ot need a tour guide to go to the markets. Highly recommend Fumiko.
