What's a Private Tokyo Sightseeing Tour Like for a Group? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from Europe, accompanied by a tour leader also from Europe. After enjoying cherry blossom viewing in Hokkaido, they toured around Tokyo. They planned to stay for a total of ten days, with visits to Mount Fuji, the Kansai region, and Hiroshima scheduled for the following days. For lunch they had originally requested teppanyaki, but upon seeing the prices on-site they felt it was too expensive, so we quickly switched to sushi instead.
For the guiding, I explained in English and the tour leader then interpreted into their language, and it seemed that the guests understood things reasonably well.
