What's a Private Day Tour of Nikko Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The weather was good, but there were times when the wind was very strong, which made things a little challenging. Kegon Falls was being blown about by the wind, creating quite a dramatic scene. I met the guests at Tobu Nikko Station, and since the roads did not seem too congested, I changed the plan and visited Kegon Falls first. After that, we had lunch at a soba and udon restaurant. The strong wind made it difficult. At Toshogu Shrine, there were surprisingly few tourists, so I was able to guide the guests at a relaxed pace. We were running short on time, but I explained the Buddhist statues at Rinnoji Temple, took photos at the Shinkyo Bridge, and then wrapped up at Tobu Nikko. Since the guests' train was scheduled for 16:33, I ended the tour after showing them to the platform.
