Title: What Is a Private Sapporo Walking Tour Like in Cherry Blossom Season? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America who were traveling around various regions of Japan, including watching baseball games. At Maruyama Park (Hokkaido Shrine), which draws many visitors during the cherry blossom season, it was still just a little too early for the blossoms to open. However, since the guests had already seen cherry blossoms in many places on the main island, they did not focus much on cherry blossom viewing when visiting the park, and instead enjoyed the scenery of the plum blossoms, which had just begun to bloom. As I am also a baseball fan, we were able to talk about many things, including baseball. The weather was nice, and the jacket worn at the start was taken off partway through, giving me the impression that the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We kept lunch simple, just having ice cream at a café inside Shiroi Koibito Park, and spent the rest of the time seeing the sights. The guests gave high praise to the content of the itinerary.

Tom was kind enough to meet at our hotel to start the tour and then sat with us to make sure we saw the best of Sapporo that was available to us on the day. We even managed some Cherry Blossom which was an unexpected bonus.
Tom ensured we got to Sapporos highest view away from any crowds and navigated our route brilliantly. He left us at the Sapporo Brewery for us to drink and eat in our own time. We wish Tom sincere thanks for a great day in Sapporo.

We had a wonderful city tour with Tom in Sapporo! He was very knowledgeable about Hokkaido’s history and culture and had a lot of great stories to share. He was extremely friendly and patient as well. Highly recommend booking a tour with Tom if you want to see Sapporo’s highlights in a day! He also does tours further out of Sapporo city center.
