Tour Itinerary in Detail
The itinerary covered Nara Park at 10:30, Todaiji Temple at 11:30, Kasuga Taisha Shrine at 13:00, Higashimuki Shopping Street (Lunch) at 14:30, Naramachi at 15:00, Nara at 16:00 and Hotel (Osaka) at 17:00.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Shinsaibashi to Namba by subway (190JPY); Osaka Namba to Kintetsu Nara by train (680JPY); Kintetsu Nara to Osaka Namba by train (680JPY); Namba to Shinsaibashi by subway (190JPY); Kintetsu Nara Station to Todaiji Daibutsuden-mae by bus (250JPY); Todaiji Daibutsuden-mae to Kintetsu Nara Station by bus (250JPY). Across 6 sections the fare came to 2,240JPY per person.
Title: What Is a Private Nara Day Tour from Osaka Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The weather was fine on the day of the tour, and the temperature rose quite a bit, making it very hot. The guests had arrived in Osaka from Europe the day before. One of the guests mentioned still feeling a bit of jet lag, but there was no sign of it, and they spent the whole day energetically. The tour proceeded at an unexpectedly slow pace. This was because the guests had just arrived in Japan, so they took many photos at each place we visited and looked around at a leisurely pace. In particular, they enjoyed the deer along the approach to Nara Park and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. The guests were also very modest and polite. They responded to various services by saying "arigato gozaimasu" in Japanese, which was very pleasant.
Finally, this tour was originally arranged as "departing from and returning to Kyoto," but since the guests were staying in Osaka, it actually became "departing from and returning to Osaka." As I live in Nara, either arrangement is fine for me, but I hope this did not cause any inconvenience.

Let’s go out! The Kansai region was the center of Japan for a long time. It was from the 4th century to 19th century. Thus the Kansai region is rich in scenic and historic interest. Why don’t we see, feel, and find so many attractions in Nara Kyoto and Osaka. I was born and raised in Nara. Also I have been to Osaka and Kyoto for working, shopping and dining. There is a lot of climbing stairs and walking, but it is totally worth it. Nara was very crowded,
but with Toshi guiding me, I could find my way very easily. The deer can be aggressive, but
really pretty amazing.

We had a great experience with Yoshi I who showed us around for 6 hours. We got to see
the deer, some temples, a few local shops, and were made to feel at home with Yoshi’s
wonderful hospitality.

Auf unserem Trip durch Japan hatten wir für unseren Stopp in Osaka eine vierstündige Tour gebucht. Im Vorfeld konnten wir per Mail mit unserem Guide Yoshi Iwamoto einen groben Plan vereinbaren, was uns an diesem Tag erwarten würde. Yoshi war überpünktlich am vereinbarten Treffpunkt und wir konnten direkt mit unserer Tour starten. Wir hatten das große Glück, mit ihm vor den Touristenmassen am Shitennoji-Tempel zu sein und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Auch die anderen Ziele waren wirklich sehr schön und wir hatten einen großartigen Tag zusammen. Vielen Dank Yoshi für die tolle Tour und Deine Freundlichkeit! Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland!
