What Is a Private Tokyo Food and Culture Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. They showed a strong interest in Japanese culture, history, and food, and we talked throughout the entire tour. They requested udon for lunch, so I took them to an udon restaurant near the Takeshita exit, and they were very pleased. Lately I feel that many guests prefer noodles or rice bowls for lunch, often requesting ramen, gyoza, udon, soba, gyudon (beef bowl), or oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl). The restaurant we visited today served not only traditional Japanese udon but also many pasta-style arrangements tailored to international visitors, making it a popular spot among foreign tourists.

I have been working as a tour guide for 5years mainly around Tokyo, Kanagawa, for example, Hakone, Kamakura, Yokohama and Kawasaki. Yuki was awesome. She reached out right after we made our reservation, inquired about our interests and provided a customized itinerary. She guided us to six different venues using public transportation over the course of six hours and was very professional, flexible and informative. I highly recommend her services especially for first time visitors.
