Title: What Is a Private One-Day Cherry Blossom Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

Body: The guests were a family visiting from North America. Because purchasing a day pass at Asakusa Station took a little time, we arrived at Shinjuku Gyoen later than on the previous day.

At Meiji Shrine, the restaurant was more crowded than expected, so we decided to have a light meal at the café terrace next door. Since the guests were not very hungry, this may have worked out just right.

Since not much shopping was done on Takeshita Street, we had more time to spare in the latter half. At Hamarikyu Gardens, which we visited in the afternoon, a variety of cherry blossoms not seen at Shinjuku Gyoen was in full bloom, and it was more popular with the guests than expected.

Because the guests had a reservation at teamLab at 17:00, they asked me to recommend a place where they could spend time until then, so I took them to the observation room at Caretta Shiodome as a final stop before we parted ways.

Hi. My name is Masafumi Miyazaki. Please call me “Sam”. I am a government-licensed guide.
I was born in Tokyo and was raised in the suburbs of Tokyo called Tama area. When I was in university, I majored in western dramas, so I am good at playing like an actor.
I like reading, listening to the music, and walking. I belong to several walking clubs, and sometimes I guide the members around Tokyo.
One of my strengths as a guide is that I know well about kombu, Japanese kelps. In December every year, I work at a traditional kombu shop in Tsukiji Fish Market. At that shop, I learned a lot of things related to kombu or other ingredients for washoku. I can explain the different characteristics of them to you.
Also, I am familiar with Japanese flowers and plants. If you stroll around a Japanese garden with me, I am sure you will be able to enjoy beautiful flowers and unique plants in every season.
