Tour Itinerary
- 1. 14:00 Meet @ Lobby of Hotel
- 2. Move to Nagoya Castle, and view Honmaru Palace and the area around Nagoya Castle
- 3. Move to Tokugawaen, and view Tokugawaen (Japanese garden)
- 4. Move to the Oasis 21 area, and view the area around Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER
- 5. Move to Osu Shopping Street, and view Osu Shopping Street and Osu Kannon
- 6. At Osu Kannon, explain the English map of Osu Shopping Street and Nagoya, and the way back to the Hotel adjacent to Nagoya Station, then disband 17:45

The guests were a group visiting from South America. It had been agreed in advance that, after they traveled from Tokyo to Nagoya and checked in at their hotel, the guided tour would begin at 13:30. However, their lunch at the hotel took longer than expected, so the tour started at 14:00, thirty minutes later than the scheduled meeting time. By using taxis to move between sites and shorten travel time, we were able to cover all of the planned locations. The guests viewed the Honmaru Palace at Nagoya Castle with great interest and were delighted that some cherry blossoms were still in bloom. They showed strong interest in the subculture that is one of the distinctive features of Osu Shopping Street, and at a card game shop they purchased a high-priced card as a souvenir. Before continuing their travels to Kyoto and Tokyo, they enjoyed the culture and atmosphere of Nagoya.

I highly recommend Todd! He was extremely knowledgeable and a great English speaker! In addition, he was so helpful even before the tour started. He kept us apprised of the weather, the amount of cash we would need for select spots, etc. He was great and this tour was really wonderful!
