Title: Can You Do a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Kamakura? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group from North America. Some of the guests had traveled abroad several times before. As a gift, I gave each of the four guests some Kamakura history materials along with a piece of yokan and a piece of mooncake as snacks. When they asked about Kamakura's specialties, we bought sweet beans on Komachi Street. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom in the grounds of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and along Wakamiya Oji Avenue, which they enjoyed very much. From Kamakura Station, we visited Hachimangu Shrine, Zeniarai Benten, the Great Buddha, and Hasedera Temple, all on foot. Zeniarai Benten, which most tourists do not visit, was well received, and they washed yen, dollars, and credit cards while praying for wealth. At the Great Buddha, we took a break, ate the snacks I had given them, and entered the interior of the statue. At Hase Kannon, the children seemed tired and said they would wait at the entrance, but I persuaded them that there was an interesting cave inside, and everyone went in. We took the Enoden to Enoshima beach, and since it was the Pacific Ocean on the opposite side from where they live, one of the guests took photos and touched the water at the shoreline.

They felt uneasy about their return train, so they asked me to see them off. I went with them into Fujisawa Station and had them board the front car, which is convenient for transferring to the Ginza Line at Shimbashi. Everyone was able to get a seat. I told them the arrival time at Shimbashi, and we waved goodbye and parted ways.
