What Is a Private Yokohama Walking Tour Like for Cruise Passengers? A Licensed Guide's Report
This was a private tour on the final day in Japan for guests arriving from a cruise ship. Because the meeting time was early and shops had not yet opened, we began in Chinatown, where I explained the differences between the two Taoist temples and a Japanese temple. At the Silk Museum, the guests listened with great interest as I explained the process by which silk thread is produced from silkworms and how it is eventually made into kimono. For lunch at the Red Brick Warehouse, I introduced an ochazuke restaurant, where they tried two ways of enjoying a seafood rice bowl. As the weather was fine, we strolled around Yokohama Port before parting ways so the guests could go shopping in Sakuragicho.

Yuki was awesome. She reached out right after we made our reservation, inquired about our interests and provided a customized itinerary. She guided us to six different venues using public transportation over the course of six hours and was very professional, flexible and informative. I highly recommend her services especially for first time visitors.
