Can You Do a Private Day Trip to Osaka and Kyoto? A Licensed Guide's Report
[Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guided a private tour of Osaka and Kyoto for a guest visiting from North America. The guest planned to sightsee in Osaka and Kyoto during their free time before returning home. At Osaka Castle, the guest was impressed by the sheer scale of the fortress and its comprehensive defensive structure, including the outer moat, inner moat, turrets, main citadel, and secondary citadel. The cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom, and the guest was surprised to see the area overflowing with tourists and hanami visitors. In Umeda, the guest was amazed by the vastness of the Osaka cityscape as seen from the aerial observatory atop the Umeda Sky Building. The guest also admired how orderly and beautiful the urban development around Osaka Station was, with its modern buildings, commercial facilities, and parks. We continued to Dotonbori, where the tour concluded.

We had a wonderful tour around Osaka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The length of the tour was just right for us—especially on such a hot day—and we still managed to find time to take some great photos.
