What Can You See on a Private Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report

The tour was originally scheduled to start at 10:00, but just before the start it was changed to begin at 11:00. The guests had a two-week cruise planned after this tour, followed by a three-day tour within Tokyo after returning, so the itinerary was arranged to avoid the places they would visit on those occasions. The guests were visiting Japan from North America. We first headed to Meiji Shrine, where I explained the differences between Shinto and Buddhism, the influence each has had on Japanese culture, and the differences in how people worship. The guests were delighted to happen upon a wedding ceremony taking place within the grounds, and they also purchased several kinds of omamori charms. After that, they experienced crossing the Shibuya Scramble amid the crowds with great surprise, and I then guided them to Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku and the 3D cat advertisement. Finally, they strolled through Shinjuku Gyoen, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and although it was unfortunately raining, they thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese atmosphere.

Hello and welcome to Tokyo!

I have been working for business with American companies for many years. I have many experiences guiding customers from around the world in Japan and taking Japanese customers to the USA and Europe.

I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter, and I want to introduce the unique gigantic city of Tokyo and the traditional Japanese culture, which is not shown in the guidebooks, to people worldwide who are interested in it. In addition, I want to introduce various Japanese foods you can enjoy only in Japan.
Unique experiences such as the Sumo Training Viewing and Tea Ceremony are optionally available.
Depending on your preference and itinerary, I can guide you in Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone so that you can enjoy your time in Japan.
