What Is a 2-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Yanaka, and Ginza

This was the second day with a group from Europe, following the previous day's tour. When we met in the morning, they mentioned they had not been able to sleep well the night before. When I asked what had happened, they explained that after returning to their hotel the previous day, they had realized that a pocket Wi-Fi device and a jacket kept in a backpack had apparently been stolen at Tsukiji. The zipper had reportedly been closed, so I suspect it was taken through a skillful method. The loss was truly unfortunate, and we managed to regroup and set off. Asakusa was quite crowded, so I chose back streets as much as possible to ease the burden. Yanaka was relatively easy to walk through, and the guests looked more relaxed. In Ginza, I introduced the streetscape and the food floor of a department store. Over the two days, our conversations even extended to more personal topics, and we parted ways while regretting the end of our time together.

I was born and raised in Tokyo(for over 40 years!) but used to live in the U.S. for a couple of years as a child.
I am proud to be able to introduce the charms of Japan from multiple perspectives based on my experience of interacting with people from many different nationalities.
