Tour Itinerary
- 1. Meet at 9:00 @ Nagoya Port Garden Pier
- 2. Move to Nagoya Castle and view Honmaru Palace and the area around Nagoya Castle
- 3. Move to Tokugawaen and view the Japanese garden of Tokugawaen
- 4. Move to the OASIS 21 shopping area and tour the area
- 5. Move to Osu Shopping Street and view the shopping street and Osu Kannon
- 6. As the guest wished to spend free time in Osu, explain the return route (subway) from Osu to Nagoya Port and disband at 13:00
Title: What's a Half-Day Private Tour of Nagoya Like During Cherry Blossom Season? A Licensed Guide's Report
During prior communication, the guests had expressed a wish to take as many photos as possible with cherry blossoms in full bloom in the background. Although the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms were blooming later than usual, at each site the guests were able to take many photos with already fully bloomed cherry blossoms such as Kawazu-zakura in the background, and were very satisfied. Among the sites we visited, the guests particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of Tokugawaen Garden and the flowers blooming there. When traveling by taxi from Tokugawaen to Sakae (the city center), I chose a route where the street cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so the guests enjoyed the view from the taxi window. I believe the guests were pleased with a half-day tour that incorporated popular sites such as Nagoya Castle, Tokugawaen Garden, Oasis 21, and the Osu Shopping District.

I highly recommend Todd! He was extremely knowledgeable and a great English speaker! In addition, he was so helpful even before the tour started. He kept us apprised of the weather, the amount of cash we would need for select spots, etc. He was great and this tour was really wonderful!
