Title: What Does a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Cover? A Licensed Guide's Report from Fushimi Inari to Nishiki Market

I met the guests at their hotel, explained the day's itinerary, and departed from the hotel. We confirmed the pre-arranged route: Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, Ninen-zaka and Sannen-zaka, Gion, and Nishiki Market, and then set off. First, at Fushimi Inari Taisha, I explained the background of the "torii," "Shinto," and the relationship between Inari shrines and foxes. We purified ourselves at the temizuya, entered the precincts, worshipped at the main hall, and proceeded to the Senbon Torii. After guiding the guests to the power spots, we returned to Inari Station and moved on to the next destination, traveling by train and bus to Kiyomizu-dera. After introducing the "Yasaka Pagoda," we walked through the very crowded Sannen-zaka and along Kiyomizu-zaka, arriving at Kiyomizu-dera. I explained the historical background of the temple's founding, entered the precincts, described the "Kannon Bodhisattva statue" and the "Kiyomizu Stage," and had the guests enjoy the legend of the "Otowa Waterfall" before heading down. Since one of the guests found walking a little difficult, we walked slowly. As they began to feel tired and wished to have lunch, we took a meal break at a restaurant. After they regained their energy, we walked to Gion. Walking along Hanami-koji while explaining "maiko" and "geiko," we arrived at Tatsumi Shrine. The guests wanted to have Kobe beef for dinner and asked me to recommend some restaurants, so I introduced several of them as we headed toward Shinkyogoku, and finally moved on to Nishiki Market, where we parted ways as our time came to an end.
